Sewerslvt is not for everyone but they are for me
I came across Sewerslvt because some youtuber recommended them to me.
When I am in a particularly mood which feels like heartbreak I listen to their album "We had some good times together, don't forget that" to just resonate in bed with.
It sounds like what a breakup feels like
The album does not have any lyrics, it's a purely electronic soundscape with synths, beats and samples. I would describe the genre as Breakcore adjacent, with a few hints of hyperpop.
Why I like it?
It's an odd album to like, but it just feels like a warm blanket when I'm in a particular mood and I just want to vibe out and feel. It's also their last album because they felt that they outgrew the alias Sewerslvt which is understandable because of the history behind the reference I am not interested in typing up here.
Because it's their swansong it's soundscape is filled with a lot of ambient angst, and long lingering synths which I like.
It's a mood piece
I would recommend it if you're interested in listening to something more underground i would recommend starting out with the track "light at the end of the tunnel" or "blissful overdose". The final song "goodbye" is also a personal favourite because it's like a gradient bouncing between the entire soundscape explored in the rest of the album.
