The unintended consequences of uninvited guests

Long Ass Day

Depression and I have been wrestling since last two weeks.

What's helped is taking my meds on time and working out.

Having a routine is important because when you're in the hole all your days blur together.

This morning I completed my run. It was 9 kms. It felt good to run so much. I don't gas out like I used to late last year.

The cut is also going great. I'm steadily losing about 1kg every week.

I guess the major reason I was depressed unconsciously was because it would have been my 5th anniversary with my ex.

To distract myself from what feels like heartache and heartbreak I train hard.

It might be a weird thing to say but if you are physically in some amount of discomfort it takes away from the thoughts ™️

My evening routine after MMA is to just curl up in a warm blanket in a cold room watching Netflix.

So when that routine gets interrupted by uninvited guests it really makes me feel like I am fighting gods hardest battles.

So now here I am, outside the comfort of my room when I am supposed to be resting and recovering, buying dinner after we have already ate for someone who came without informing us.

I don't know who started this trend of showing up without informing, but I genuinely hope that person has a bad day tomorrow.

Because the last thing I need after getting punched and kneed in the stomach a hundred times each is having to take my scooter in the night on pothole filled roads dodging gig workers doing the accident trifecta: scrolling on YouTube shorts, one hand on the handle, and no helmet.

The worst part of this whole ordeal is they drank my last diet coke. Nobody buys it in this house, but somehow everyone loves drinking it.

I know this is a bit of a rant post but it's healthier to write down and express myself as opposed to malding in my room with the aftermath.

My disappointment is immeasurable and my evening is ruined.
