This was a very unfocused week. I spent a lot of time in my own head. It wasn't fun.
Not having a schedule anymore has messed me up a lot. I stay up too late and wake up too early. It is causing me to tired. I would be okay if I was doing something I found interesting but I have fallen into the infinte scroll rabbit hole. I will be working on breaking out of that habit.
The world is beautiful, there are nice cool and cloudy days. I know most people find it depressing but I find some comfort in the cold. It's nice to just wrap myself up in a warm jacket with a hot cup of coffee or hot chocolate and sit and read a book.
In my quest for being a more well rounded person I came across a clip of Ray Bradbury reccommeding that you read atleast one essay or poem or book chapter a night before bed because it will help you get some good ideas into your brain. I wholeheartedly agree. I am hoping that some people who are reading this I will be meeting shortly again, and if you remember that I am on this quest, feel free to share a poetry book reccomendation. I will work on making sure that I am at a better place. It is a process.
I will forgive myself for having a bad week, it is okay.
