Context

I wanted to sit and put my thoughts down on two hypotheticals. What would I do if I had infinite time? What would I do if I had only 10 years left? This is an exercise to figure out the hobbies and interests I like and the ones I love.

Infinite Time

I want to read every book in the world in the language it was written in. For that I would have to learn every language. I want to learn how to make music and write an entire album. I think a lot of it is wishful thinking here. Mostly because I don't really know how to play any instrument. It would be a fun time learning to be a music producer/DJ.

Ten Years

Honestly with a finite amount of time, I just want to work on making a game. I think 10 years is enough to make a few solo projects and see what sticks. Honestly I just want to be able to find my creative voice.

Conclusion

Funny thing is I didn't write stuff like I want to increase value for shareholders by hitting my KPI goals. I guess I just work to fund my hobbies. I still love reading books, especially if it's in the Epic fantasy genre. It's kind of day dream of mine to write something in that space. Everyone has some kind of creative urge. I just wish that I had the time/space to make the things that I want to make. I wish that for everyone.
