Hey everyone! So this is the progress for day 7,8,9
I am currently still working on the player and enemy sprites. That will take me some time because i want to make it look a little bit nicer.
I have added a solitary tree currently and tuned on the collisions for the water so unfortunately you are trapped on the island for now.
Also yes the Tree is a Fern tree, why is it on an island? I will fix it later, I needed a tree to be there and I had this Creative Commons licenced tree available to be a placeholder. I will add a proper coconut or palm tree later thank you for your patience.
But in other news we have added SFX!!!!!
It was super easy to do, barely an inconvienience. Now you can relax on a beach with the sounds of seagulls and the waves,
I have also provided you with a beach ball to play around with. Feel free to kick it around not like there is much else to do lol.
We should be making some great progress this week because adding SFX makes it a lot more immersive and I am excited to work on the actual gameplay loop.
